By accessing or using Vox Facta (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a listener account. Creator accounts require you to be at least 18 years old, as creators enter into content licensing, monetisation, and payment agreements. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• One person or legal entity per account
• You may not use another user's account without permission
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Vox Facta, including audio files, text, images, and comments. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and make your content available to other users through the Platform.

Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload or share content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains hate speech, threats, or harassment
• Is sexually explicit or exploitative
• Promotes violence or illegal activities
• Contains malware or deceptive content
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Is spam or unsolicited advertising

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders. Content is moderated using a combination of AI systems and human review.

DMCA / Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Vox Facta infringes your copyright, please contact us at [email protected] with:

• A description of the copyrighted work
• The URL of the infringing content
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
• Your physical or electronic signature

If you use Vox Facta as a creator, you additionally agree to:

• Only upload content you have the right to share (original or properly licensed)
• Accurately represent your content — do not mislead listeners about episode content
• Fulfill obligations to your subscribers — deliver promised benefits for paid tiers
• Comply with all applicable tax laws regarding income earned through the Platform
• Maintain a valid Stripe Connect account for receiving payments

Listener Payments

• Platform subscriptions (Listener Premium, Creator Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

Virtual Currency (Verba)

• Vox Facta uses a virtual currency system ("Verba") for tipping creators. Verba are purchased with real money in preset packs starting at $5.00 USD.
• Verba are non-refundable once purchased and have no cash value outside the Platform.
• Verba cannot be transferred between accounts except through tipping.
• We reserve the right to adjust the Verba exchange rate with 30 days' notice to users.
• Unused Verba remain in your account indefinitely as long as your account is active. Verba are forfeited upon account deletion.

Creator Earnings

• Creators earn through tips and creator-specific subscriptions
• 100% of every tip reaches the creator — Vox Facta takes no fee on tips. Revenue is sustained through the buy/sell spread on Verba purchases
• Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect on a rolling basis
• Minimum payout threshold and schedule are determined by Stripe
• You are responsible for reporting income to tax authorities

You may not:

• Use automated systems to access the Platform without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Manipulate metrics (fake listens, fake followers, fake engagement)
• Resell or redistribute Platform content without authorization

The Vox Facta name, logo, design, and platform code are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that content posted by users is accurate or legal.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vox Facta shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
